This is an Indian pure silk dress made in India during the 1970s under the “Konarak” brand, sold at the Ashok Hotel in New Delhi. The fabric is printed with a floral pattern in tones of orange, red, blue, ochre gold and brown against a beige background colour. The silk is lightweight and gauzy, beautiful quality and lovely for summer wear. The dress has a V shaped neckline that closes at the top with two ties at the neck. The dress is unlined and loose fitting.
